Author's Bio

 

Beverly Raffensperger Fauvre was born in Indianapolis,a fourth generation Hoosier. She graduated from Tudor Hall School [Park-Tudor]. After attending Hollins College in Virginia, she received her B.A. in History from Indiana University, Bloomington. She taught in the Indianapolis Public School System before she and her husband moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.
 
After a brief teaching career in Marin County, California , she became the full time mother of two children and an active community volunteer. For several years Fauvre also ran her own business as a wholesale jewelry representative and was a member of the Golden Gate Apparel Association.

She and her husband of forty years divide their time between Saratoga and La Quinta, CA. A free-lance writer, Justly Proud  is Fauvre's first book. She is currently working on a second book, "Imagining Liza: Memoir of a Fan."
